Job Description: The Behavioral Wellness and All in Coalition Specialist is responsible for coordinating a comprehensive and preventative approach to mental, emotional, and behavioral wellness for students. This role focuses on promoting techniques, practices, and evidence based strategies tailored to the needs of elementary and middle school students for behavioral wellness. The Specialist will lead strategic planning and implementation of prevention programs through the facilitation of the All in Coalition while engaging with community stakeholders to ensure sustainable and impactful outcomes. By addressing behavioral health issues proactively, the Specialist helps foster a positive school culture that promotes personal growth of our learners in their social, emotional, and physical well-being.

Position Available: Substance Misuse Prevention Fellow Location: North Carolina or South Carolina
Job Description: The Southeast Prevention Technology Transfer Center (SE PTTC) has developed a Prevention Training Program with the goal of developing well-trained and knowledgeable entry-to mid-level substance misuse prevention professionals who understand and exemplify the principles and best practices of substance misuse prevention. This program is part of a national initiative to increase the number of prevention professionals working within underrepresented communities. Specifically, it aims to build emerging prevention professionals’ capacity to identify, implement, and assess evidence-based programs, practices, and policies to reduce substance misuse and related consequences. This position is slated to begin December 2024 and end September 30th, 2025. There may be an opportunity for a one-year extension of funding. This is a full time, paid position. Fellows must reside in North Carolina or South Carolina or be willing to relocate.
