Ruby’s Trainings & Event Services
Throughout the last 16 years of working in the field of substance abuse prevention, most of Ruby’s time has been spent planning events focused around substance abuse prevention and youth leadership. She has experience in coordinating events that range from 10-15 participant, one-hour meetings to multi-day, multi-track, multi-age conferences with more than 500 attendees.
She has worked on both a state and national level with some of the best people in the field as prevention in an effort to engage young people who seek to make a change in the way their community views the issues surrounding substance abuse and has served as one of Texas’s Substance Abuse Prevention Skills Training (SAPST) trainers, as well as an online moderator for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s national Ethics in Prevention course.
Ruby is well versed in both online and face-to-face training environments.
