This is a new approach designed to provide you the knowledge and skills necessary to become a highly competent prevention professional. International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC) certification indicates that you meet the highest standards of performance for the delivery of prevention services.
The Academy is designed to help foster professional relationships through team building activities and online experiences. Academy participants will gain knowledge and skills and also have the opportunity to work together online with other professionals to develop a strong network of peers.
The agenda is simple in design: One 3 hour session per week for six weeks. Each week we will instruct on one topic and its related skills, provide an online small group opportunity to make application of the topic and network with other professionals.
The Academy experience will enhance your skills and ability to perform your prevention specialist responsibilities. Evaluations will improve! Supervisors will take notice!
